The Cause for the Canonization of
Father Emil J Kapaun
will be officially opened at the
St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church
on June 29m, 2008
Pilsen, Marion County, Kansas
Mass will be at 10:00 am
Dr. Andreas Ambrosi, the Postulator assigned to
Father Kapaun's cause will be in Pilsen that day to officiate the
ceremony for
the swearing in of the two commissions that will be investigating the
historical and religious life of Father Kapaun. The commissions,
an Historical Commission and
the Theological Commission
members will take their oath of office at that time.
A picnic lunch will follow the ceremonies and Mass.

11 (every year)
Annual Military Pilgrimage to Pilsen
Mass at 11:00 am with program following the Mass and a presentation of wreaths
at the base of the
Father Kapaun Statue. There will be a meal served in the church
dining room by the Father Kapaun Guild.
